Paid internships

We’re providing 60 young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds an opportunity to kickstart their careers through paid internships.

We’ve teamed up with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Youth Activating Youth to deliver internships to young people finding it difficult to secure their first job.

We know it can sometimes be difficult to get a job even when you have your qualification.

The internships will be across a range of industries and will last for up to eight weeks, with free pre-employment training and up to 12 weeks post-internship support. You’ll be paid to gain valuable work experience, learn new skills and make contacts that could lead to a job.

The program will commence in October and roll out across Victoria over the next 12 months.

We’re inviting applications from young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who want to undertake an internship in an industry suited to their skills and qualifications.
