Veterans

Jobs Victoria supports veterans and their families looking for work. We can provide information, advice and support in person, online, and over the phone.

If you are looking for work, need more work, or seeking a career change, Jobs Victoria Career Counsellors can help you understand your career options and give you the tools and confidence you need to pursue them. Personalised sessions are delivered by qualified Jobs Victoria Career Counsellors on an appointment basis.

The Jobs Victoria online hub is a free job search service available to anyone looking for work. You can apply for jobs posted by employers in your local area.

When you register for job alerts, make sure you nominate as a veteran or immediate family member, so that we can match you to employers who value your transferable skills.

Jobs Victoria Advocates can connect you with the information and advice you need to help with your job search. You can register to talk to an Advocate online, or you can meet them in local community spaces like libraries and shopping centres.

If you have been looking for work for a while, or you are facing challenges that are making it harder to find a job, a Jobs Victoria Mentor can support you with a personalised approach.

Mentors can help you to prepare for work, apply for jobs, prepare for an interview and land a job. A Mentor can also support you during your first six months in the job.
