Two young jobseekers land meaningful work at a Springvale donut shop, with the help of Jobs Victoria Partner, The Bridge.

1 December 2017

Jobs Victoria and our partner The Bridge are working together to provide opportunities for Victoria's young jobseekers. Since October 2016, The Bridge has helped around 50 long-term unemployed Victorians into sustainable jobs through Jobs Victoria.

Recently we celebrated another success story, placing two young people into sales positions at the renowned Daniel's Donuts.

Twenty-year-old Kahlia Teteo from Tonga and 19-year-old Alisha Neemia from Samoa both faced barriers to finding a job. Now they’re working at a local Springvale icon serving a variety of sweet treats.

Thanks to Jobs Victoria, The Bridge will place a total of 130 jobseekers into work across Melbourne’s eastern, south-eastern and southern metropolitan regions.

Working with Partners like The Bridge, Jobs Victoria can provide opportunities for young people and change lives.
