We’re investing $2.9 million to create 130 new jobs in the renewable energy sector across Gippsland and metropolitan Melbourne.

Roles include solar hot water manufacturing, battery recycling, and solar farm assembly. There will also be roles that build skills for future opportunities within the renewable energy sector such as mobile plant operations and manufacturing.

All jobs are full-time or part-time for 12 months and include paid on-the-job training and other support to help you succeed.

We’re prioritising these jobs for young people, women over 45, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal people, people with disability and those who are long-term unemployed.

Recruitment for these roles will commence in the coming months.
