Happy International Women’s Day!

This International Women’s Day, we’re sharing and celebrating the stories of three of the thousands of women we’ve supported into secure work.

Nadia is breaking down stereotypes, taking on her dream carpentry apprenticeship through our Big Build ‘earn and learn’ initiative. At least 60% of the 300 apprenticeships and traineeships on offer are being filled by women.

Jaynaya, a proud Gunditjmara woman, completed a Jobs Victoria YES traineeship with Victoria Police in Warrnambool. Jaynaya wants to inspire other young Aboriginal people to prepare for a great career.

Chin Chin is studying and working in childcare through our ‘earn and learn’ initiative. At 50, she says it has re-energised her. She’s having fun and getting paid!
